Jim Offenbach –
Owner
Jim has 45 years experience in the meat industry. Born and
raised in San Francisco, Jim started in the business with
his father at a small retail butcher shop in the San Francisco
Bay Area. Jim has learned all aspects of the business from
breaking beef to owning his own restaurant. Jim and Patti
started Golden Gate Meat Company in 1977. Jim has a passion
for working with people in the food business and hopes to
continue the success of Golden Gate Meat Company with his
family.
Justin Offenbach – Sales Manager

Justin has been involved in the family business since
1997 after attending college in Chico, CA. Son of Jim
and Patti Offenbach, born and raised in the Bay Area,
Justin is one of our top Sales Managers. Justin is the
Purchasing Manager for our Natural and Organic product
lines. Justin is young, energetic and is very knowledgeable
in all areas of the meat business.
Mike Harrell –
Sales
SONOMA COUNTY
Mike Harrell has been in the business for
5 years. He started at the plant learning the products,
and is now in sales. A resident of the Sonoma County area
for 30 years, he is very knowledgeable about his customers
requirements and can assist you with all of your meat needs.
Mando Giotta – Buyer/Sales
SAN FRANCISCO • EAST BAY
Mando has 36 years experience
in the meat industry. Jim and Mando have worked together
since 1979. Mando is our Buyer for Poultry, Veal, Wild
Game, Seafood and Specialty items. Mando deals in all meats
plus specialties. He will help and advise on menu needs
for his customers. Mando is very dedicated to his customers
and will help in any way.
Skip Sullens – Buyer/Sales
PENINSULA
Skip Sullens is a long time native to the
Bay Area. He is our meat buyer and sales rep for the
Peninsula Area, and is very knowledgeable in all areas of
the business.
Sarah Offenbach – Sales

Sarah is your local Sales Representative.
She has extensive knowledge in all product areas and has
been a part of the family business for the past ten years.
Sarah is the daughter to Jim and Patti Offenbach, born and
raised in the Bay Area. She is proud to serve such amazing
establishments and likes to keep relationships with Golden
Gate customers by dining out. Sarah is very proud of the
business and hopes to keep the dream alive.
Jamie Lloyd – Sales

Jamie brings a new focus to our sales team, with a 15 year history as a chef in the Bay Area, his extensive knowledge in the food business and a focus on sustainable agriculture, Jamie is carrying on relationships with customers in Napa, Marin and San Francisco. A Graduate of Culinary Institute of America in New York and a native to the Bay Area. Jamie resides in Marin County with his family. With his great attitude and strong character he will continue to build relationships with fellow chefs.
